Junior Key Account Manager: SMB - (KZN) - #559-10

Requirements:

Education

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Tertiary qualification, preferably a degree or diploma.
  • Relevant sales certifications related to sales in the IT industry.

Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience in the IT Sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue and gross profit targets.
  • Experience in brand marketing (products and processes) with financial and business acumen.

Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Basic sales techniques and strategies to grow account revenue.
  • Clear verbal and written communication to interact with clients, team members, and management.
  • Analytical thinking to understand client challenges and propose practical solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the products and services the company offers.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of budgeting, pricing strategies, and revenue targets.
  • Focused on providing excellent customer service and addressing client concerns in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Event Organisation

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to organise and execute client events, driving engagement and brand awareness.

Market Insights and Forecasting

  • Provide Product Managers with valuable market insights to aid in product forecasting and strategic decision-making.

Additional

  • Reliable transport.
  • This is an office-based position in the KZN branch.
