Tier 1 Internal Account Manager

Role Description

The Tier 1 Internal Account Manager full-time role is an on-site position located in Johannesburg. The Tier 1 Internal Account Manager will be the main point of contact for Tarsus Distribution's channel partners, responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, and providing support while growing these accounts. They will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide expert advice and solutions, while maintaining and improving customer satisfaction through regular engagement.


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in account or sales management with a proven ability to grow revenue and manage relationships. Experience in the technology industry is a benefit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to form and build relationships
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive individual, committed to continuous learning and development
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Sales or Marketing will be beneficial but not essential.
