Requirements:
Education
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Tertiary qualification preferable; a diploma in Sales or Customer Service is ideal.
Experience
- 3+ years in a Sales or Customer Service role at a distributor, vendor or reseller level will be an advantage.
Skills
- Financial and business acumen, including an understanding of ERP and CRM systems.
- Demonstrable evidence of excellent customer relationship management, service delivery, and communications skills.
- Experience using digital sales tools in a customer-centric role.
- IT and Tech industry experience will be advantageous.
- Experience working in the SADC region.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain Client Relationships
- Build and nurture trust-based relationships with a portfolio of major clients.
- Gain a deep understanding of key customer needs and business requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring seamless communication.
Business Growth and Sales Enablement
- Identify and propose solutions that align with customers’ objectives to expand relationships.
- Play an active role in generating new sales opportunities to build long-lasting partnerships.
- Work closely with the Tarsus sales team to drive sales enablement and business growth.
- Maximse the quote-to-invoice ratio to improve efficiency and revenue.
Service Delivery and Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure the timely delivery of products and services that meet customer expectations.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction.
Reporting and Performance Tracking
- Prepare and present regular reports on progress, forecasts, and key account metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Comply with vendor-specific requirements for reporting, pipeline management, and forecasting.
Training and Certification
- Meet training and vendor certification requirements to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
