As a Junior Key Account Manager, you will assist in the achievement of sales and product targets through proactive engagement with customers and stakeholders, as well as liaise effectively with vendors and the sales team to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing trust-based relationships, understanding client needs, and ensuring the timely delivery of our solutions to achieve mutual satisfaction and business growth and provide forecasting input to product managers using knowledge of market dynamics.

Requirements:
Educational
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Tertiary qualification preferably a degree or diploma.
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in the IT Sector.
- Experience in brand marketing (products and processes) with financial and business acumen.
Skills
- Relevant sales certifications related to sales in the IT industry.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue and gross profit targets.
- Effective time and people management skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
- Good understanding of the ICT industry including the ability to keep up with technology and industry developments
- Proficient in MS office suite, specifically advanced skills in Excel.

Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Engagement
- Support the achievement of sales and product targets by proactively engaging with customers and stakeholders.
- Foster positive relationships with clients to build trust and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement a plan to meet or exceed allocated monthly sales targets.
Client Relationship Building
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key retail clients.
- Understand the needs and requirements of key customers and provide tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and key accounts.
- Resolve any issues or problems faced by clients and handle complaints to maintain trust.
Market Analysis and Forecasting
- Provide insightful forecasting input to Product Managers, using a strong understanding of market dynamics and trends.
- Stay updated on industry developments to anticipate customer needs and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, progress, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
