We are looking for looking for a Business Development Manager with the drive to succeed in developing our Advanced Technologies business unit. This role requires an individual with strong virtualisation skills as it includes transforming data to help carry out business plans. Additionally, candidates should implement plans to boost sales, manage old inventory, and maximize stock efficiency.
The successful candidate will be one who is able to demonstrate an understanding of vendor processes and strategy to make informed decisions, plan, and meet vendor requirements. They will therefore be required to develop a channel to sell the product to in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders. Additionally, they will need to implement plans to drive sales and proactively implement action plans for aging inventory and maximising stock effectiveness.

Requirements:
- Grade 12 pass or equivalent
- 4+ years in product/account management
- Strong understanding of the ICT industry and ability to stay updated with technology and industry developments
- Proficient in the MS Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel
- Proven success in achieving revenue and gross profit targets
- In-depth knowledge of brand-specific products and processes
- Must hold all relevant technology certifications
- Expertise in VMware and Nutanix appliances will be advantageous
- Comprehensive understanding of distributor and partner dynamics
- Own reliable transport
- This is an office-based position in the Woodmead branch
