Tarsus believes in rewarding resellers for their commitment. The PartneRewards loyalty programme, established in 1998 and run in association with its sister company A.C.T., is the South African IT industry’s longest running and most successful loyalty programme.
All partners with a 30-day account at Tarsus or A.C.T. are automatically enrolled on to the programme. By purchasing from Tarsus regularly members earn points which can be redeemed for a host of rewards ranging from travel services, to state-of-the-art Samsung products, lifestyle products and training through the Channel Business College. Partners can also donate their points to a number of different charity organisations.
While the obvious benefit of the initiative is to reward partners for loyalty, over the years PartneRewards has made a tangible difference in partners’ cost structures by reducing travel costs and forming a vital part of their internal incentive schemes – many resellers redeem points earned on the programme for prizes which are awarded to top performing employees.
In 2004 PartneRewards received a prestigious Loerie Award nomination for the Best Loyalty Programme and in 2005, PartneRewards won international recognition in the Distree Channel Initiative Awards.
