Samsung CLP-770ND from Tarsus set to be ultimate in snappy office assistants
5 January 2010
Tarsus Technologies has announced the local availability of Samsung's
CLP-770 colour laser printer, designed to deliver economical high performance
colour printing and maximum user productivity for SMEs and corporate
workgroups.
At the forefront of the CLP-770ND's benefits is the fact that it delivers
professional-grade colour laser printing while simultaneously minimising
operational costs.
“This printer will give your business the performance boost it needs,”
says Levina de Matos, Samsung product manager at Tarsus, “and does so
at a price that's just right.”
Offering a performance level of 32ppm for both colour and mono printouts,
De Matos says the CLP770ND will get the job done much quicker than competing
models.
“Processing time is also impressive at 11 seconds, offering an attractive
time to first page over its market peers,” she says.
Despite its superior speed print and processing times, De Matos is quick
to assure that the CLP-770ND doesn't compromise on delivery.
“Even at its impressive print speed, the 770 delivers high-resolution
9600dpi printing effortlessly and along with duplex printing options,
a number of paper-handling options, and support for PS3, PCL5 and PCL6
technology, ensures your documents print perfectly every time.”
Even though the CLP-770ND has a 120 000 maximum monthly duty, De Matos
points out that it is still best suited to the SME and corporate workgroup
markets.
“That said, however, this printer is such a hard worker, it's likely
to perform just fine in more demanding environments,” she adds.
For this express reason, De Matos says that an optional 80GB hard disk
drive and another 256MB of RAM can be added to the mix, helping to reduce
network congestion, optimise print job storage and speed up the processing
of larger print jobs.
“Customers can also add a wireless network option (802.11b/g) to the
printer and bring a new level of convenience to their print environment,”
De Matos continues.
“And if they're concerned about the security of certain print jobs,
this printer has those worries covered,” De Matos assures.
“Samsung's secure encryption solution delivers end-to-end protection,
utilising a smart card and universal driver to ensure confidential information
doesn't slip into the wrong hands,” she says.
“Lastly,” De Matos says, “not only is this printer an efficient work
assistant, it's environmentally friendly too.
“The CLP-770ND is both part of the Samsung Take Back and Recycle (“STAR”)
programme and is ENERGY-star compliant, meaning it has less environmental
impact and saves the user money in the process.
“Customers truly get more than they bargained for with this printer
and we're convinced it will be met with a high-level of enthusiasm in
the market,” De Matos concludes.
